Fashion for Philanthropy Influencer Event

When: Tuesday, February 27th 7:00-8:30
Where: McGinley 234
What: Socially conscious fashion? Yes please! Fashion for Philanthropy is hosting a panel of fashion influencers available to answer your most important questions about the fashion industry. Whether interning for Miranda Priestly is your dream job or you simply love style, this event is worth attending.

Where: McGinley Ballroom
What: Fordham and Special Olympic athletes will strut their stuff down a runway for one night only in the McGinley Ballroom. There will also be dinner from Tino’s and an auction with some amazing prizes. Jocks rocking frocks AND Arthur Avenue classics? I'll be there.

The Orchid Show

When: March 3rd- April 22nd
Where: New York Botanical Gardens
What: The Orchid Show will showcase thousands of dramatically displayed orchids in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory featuring a series of installations crafted by Belgian floral artist Daniel Ost—each a living sculpture that celebrates the complex beauty of these stunning flowers.

Bridezillas Museum of Natural Hysteria

When: Closes Sunday, March 4th (open 11:00-8:00 PM)
Where: 4 Times Square
What: Bridezillas is the kind of show you love to hate. One moment you randomly flip it on, and the next you're four hours in listening to a bride tell off her grandmother on national television; "Granny messed with the wrong bitch today!"(Yes that's an actual quote I heard on the show). WE TV celebrates the show's reboot of this reality binge classic with this pop up museum chronicling the long and celebrated history of Bridezillas. This exhibition has it all; from Cleopatra's nuptials, to a scream booth.

Exhibition: “David Bowie is…”

When: Opens Friday, March 2nd
Where: Brooklyn Museum
What:“'David Bowie is' presents approximately 400 objects drawn primarily from the David Bowie Archive, including the artist’s original costumes, handwritten lyric sheets from famous songs, original album art, photographs, and videos, all tracing Bowie’s creative process from his teenage years in England through his last twenty years, when he resided in New York City. The archive is presented within an immersive, multimedia installation that includes continuous audio along with projected animation and video.”
