STEM Career Fair

What: Unless you're part of the 1% of people who already know exactly what they're doing after college, you want to check this out! At the upcoming STEM career fair, employers will be hiring for Research Technician, Data Scientist, Financial Engineer, Software Engineer, Trading Technology, K-12 Science Internships, and more! Embrace your inner nerd and land a job!

Cost: Free!

Our Story @ Fordham University

What: There is a certain strength that comes from being entirely open. Our Story, an event in which individuals share deeply personal stories, is an excellent example of this. This is full of solidarity, strength, and empathy via listening that aims to bring the Fordham community together through story telling. Five students and storytellers will be sharing their stories in this cross between a Ted Talk and The Moth.

When: April 12th, 6pm
Cost: Free!

Fashion for Philanthropy Annual Fashion Show

What: Fashion with a good cause in mind! Go see FFP's Fashion Show, to support the Make A Wish! Foundation. Watch your fellow students strut down the catwalk, bet on some amazing luxury raffles, and play fashion police from the crowd. Tickets are $5 for GA, and $15 for VIP (with exclusive goody bags), Tickets will be sold till Friday, the 13th.

Cost: $5 GA, $15 VIP

The Orchid Show

What: Having the New York Botanical Gardens in our backyard is a major blessing. Its lush and beautiful grounds are perfect for long walks away from your responsibilities! The annual Orchid Show is currently running and is perfect for a date or a much needed mental health break.
Where: New York Botanical Garden
When: Ends April 22nd!
Cost: $23 on weekdays, $28 on weekends

Brooklyn Wine Festival

What: Like the New York Wine and Food Festival with a little less pretention and a slightly lower price. Taste the world through an extensive collection of wine. Pretend like you know anything about being a sommelier while getting crunk.
